we need to watch ourselves

little phoebe is a sponge. for a long time she has used the word "stupid" in the correct context. she'll get frustrated and say "stupid drawer. mom, i can't get my shirt out." i feel horrible for not sensory myself enough to use that word enough to teach her. it could be worse, but this was just the first pick up she took.
lately, when you ask her to do something, she responds with "hold on". i'll ask her to hold on when i'm doing something like changing walter. james asked her to come in the room and she yelled "hold on". not good.

she was helping me take our stocking holder down. it comes apart into three long pieces. phoebe was carrying the top two pieces still assembled. when we reached the steps the bottom fell off of the top. she said something like "oops. i accidentally probably broke it."

and she announces that walter is getting "agitated" when he starts getting upset. my little mini me.

check out their cute matching theme jammies. walter is officially in 6 month clothes. those cute little shark jammies are 6-12mo. phoebe is wearing finding nemo scrub type pj's.

this is how walter plays pinnacle.

walter in a cute little vest keeping him warm this cold cold winter day (-20 wind chill!). check out how he makes sure aunt salena holds him as long as he desires.

miss phoebe

our little grew is growing up. she's the greatest helper with her baby brother walter. today we were reading her new miss spider books. walter was sitting near us in his bouncer. he was starting to stir and kick his legs and phoebe noticed. "mommy, walter's getting agitated." agitated? really, my sweet baby two-year-old??? lol.

then in bed tonight she said "walter nurses. i don't need to. i don't like your boobies." ouch, okay. i realize we had a different relationship since i had to return to work after she was born and try to keep that nursing bond with her at lunch and nighttime which didn't end up working. i so wish she would have nursed beyond ten months. ah well.

the new family blog

i've been sharing family pictures through phoebe's blog and started thinking we should be including the whole family. i'm not sure yet the balance between her original blog and this one, but everyone got me thinking continuing to ask about more babies coming along. if one day there are more kids, we don't want their pics posted on the phoebe's world blog!
